Early Childhood/Childhood Education Program

The Early Childhood and Childhood Education (ECC) Program's pedagogy (major) requirements are listed below. This dual certification program enables Early Childhood Education candidates to also prepare for certification in Childhood Education.  This results in a dual certificate enabling candidates to teach children from birth through grade 6.  Dual certification is a rigorous program of study that may necessitate candidates completing an additional semester of study to fulfill all requirements for graduation and dual certification.  The following pedagogy courses are required for the ECC program:
