New York State Education Department requires teacher candidates in all of our programs - ECE, CED, ECC and EED (old program) - to be fingerprinted. This should be completed at least four months prior to graduation and application for certification. Fingerprinting information packets can be obtained in Career Services, Van Hoesen B-5 (phone: 753-4715). Their website is: www.cortland.edu/career/.

Special Information for Early Childhood Education Majors (both ECE and ECC): Fingerprinting and physical examinations, including immunizations, are required for field placement in Child Care Programs. Information will be provided by Early Childhood course instructors.
